At least a match is missing: where and when is the Puille = Monfils match?

It will be interesting to see if Pouille is not just completely burnt out by now!

Nah.. Monfils will probably take him out in straight sets ...Monfils will play Pouille the correct way and keep him to his high 20s or more ranking..

Pouille looks finally gassed. Monfils playing solid and focused but not having to do too much. Up 2 sets and looking good for reaching the semis here.

Darth ..Pouille isn't gassed .... Rafa style of play on Sunday all due respect made Lucas appear better than he is..Lucas deserved to win just as Rafa deserved to loose.

^ If he isn't gassed after 3 straight long five setters that'd be highly suspicious. There isn't anything left in those legs. I do agree that Monfils probably would've taken him anyways though.

Yep.. Pouille will be added to the list of tennis players who all achieved their Career win against Rafa :nono

Dude, this stuff gets old dealing with Rafa..

Lucas was gassed all right. he played a LOT of tennis in the first 4 rounds. While Gael won very economical every match.
I was expecting Gael to win easily, because he is playing very well lately.
And I am very curious to see how far he will go now that he became serious, because he will might live up to his true potential, before too late.

If he comes and plays tough Monfils can give Nole a good fight, and that's a realistic expectation. He usually gets decked by the big guys on the big stages so it'd be nice to see him at least show up and make it a good match.

That list will grow, it sure has for Federer over the past 5+ years. One of the cocoa puffs Rafa demolished here (Seppi) embarrassed Roger in the 2015 AO. Fed has lost to Stakhovsky, Robredo, Gulbis, Berd 2x, Tsonga 2x, etc over the past 5 years. If they stay around long enough the awful losses will come.

Seppi can be deadly though when in form. He went up 2 sets to 0 against Djokovic at RG 2012 but faded after that. He was playing unreal though for those first 2 sets.

What a truly pathetic game by Tsonga. 3 double faults.

Overall, Novak is looking good. More plausible that he wins this whole thin than a week ago.
