Exciting match ups:

Sock-Fritz
Brown-Raonic

Well, that's kind of it for the men!

It definitely wasn't the greatest draw for the Americans, and it definitely stinks to see Sock and Fritz matched up in round one. It should be exciting, but I would like to see them playing each other much later!

Man Youzhny ran through Klizan: 6-2 6-1 6-1. Anyone watch the match? Was is a return to form for Youzhny or did Klizan just not have his Hamburg/Rotterdam level today?

Sock - Fritz is a rematch from AO R1, which was a 5 set encounter.

I'm glad Monfils has won so easy, it's a shame that he doesn't do good matches more often, he has the game but I don't think he takes it too seriously, just once and awhile...:nono

That's going to hurt Tiafoe.

Yep, it's growing pains.. If I was Tiafoe.. I would immediately hop on a plane to southern Calif.. Contact Pete to refine his serve and his approach to his service game. He needs a big time coach ..to bad he lost..if he had advance today..he could have made at least 77 k..that's can buy a lot of tennis serving coaching tips from Pete.

His serve is really bad...You would think that as the one shot in tennis that your opponent has no say in, players would not be sucking so bad at it but I guess you would be wrong...

Novak took treatment for his right arm even though it was his left wrist that was injured. That is just to throw off opponents into attacking him on the wrong side. :plot

Myneni cramping big time against Jiri. Myneni spent about 6 years trying to qualify into USO and finally he did this year, only to Cramp out on a match in which he was in a winning position.

p.s. He played college tennis for Alabama in 2010.
