Good to see good ol´ Guga having fun with Djokovic. Shame he had to stop so young, he would have caused a few more upsets otherwise.

You guys can´t get it, it is so funny to catch his accent even in English, or in Serbian. And I don´t mean portuguese accent, but the local accent from Florianopolis (his home town, were I grew up), which is beyond weird and funny (if you´re curious, language person Moxie, it is due to the Azore's settlers). I said it elsewhere already, the guy is that easy going even when cameras are off.

And Roger has withdrawn, not surprise at all. Now he has more time to practice and be more focused for the season grass, he could do better than if he would have played now

Roger Federer's official statement:

"I regret to announce that I have made the decision not to play in this year’s French Open. I have been making steady progress with my overall fitness, but I am still not 100% and feel I might be taking an unnecessary risk by playing in this event before I am really ready. This decision was not easy to make, but I took it to ensure I could play the remainder of the season and help to extend the rest of my career. I remain as motivated and excited as ever and my plan is to achieve the highest level of fitness before returning to the ATP World Tour for the upcoming grass court season. I am sorry for my fans in Paris but I very much look forward to returning to Roland Garros in 2017."

Respectfully,

Fed is heading for retirement unfortunately. 65 slam participations streak broken, quite a record.

Tomorrow. Various times have been given for draw starting time between 10-11:30 am. Paris Time.
I think the latest I heard was 11 am.

Respectfully,

don't fall for that. djokovic is playing head games.

also he doesn't want the pressure since he is the very heavy favorite there.

I don't believe that either. Novak is extremely politically correct. Just words. Check a few days before the tournament and he'll be saying the exact opposite.

One of the best personalities and best smiles in tennis history. It is a shame that he was plagued with injuries and had to cut his career short. Guga is unique. Even his Serbian is cute. For me it is great to see the two of them having fun together. :dance3:
