1st half is about as expected. Chiefs have won 11 straight yet this time of year…they still have Alex Smith. Unless a team has a historically good defense you can’t go far without a good qb. That’s just the way it is.
LOL Black and white guy as always. I thought Edelman and Gronkowski would not be as healthy as they were yesterday, but sadly they were and they were the difference. Patriots had 2 weeks to rest and prepare and it did them good. Additionally they are the defending champions, so Chiefs had the most difficult opponent of all available and yet they fought well, even if they didn't play as best as they could.  Brady is better but he also had better options to throw the football to, while the only good and experienced receiver Alex had was injured. But Chiefs have some young and promising players and this experience will do wonders for them. Â
That fumble at the beginning of 3rd quarter is what did them in. It was just unfortunate and it took them a while to recover (by that time Patriots scored a TD and stopped Chiefs at the beginning of their next drive, then scored another TD).
Anyway it was a long shot for Chiefs to win, my hope was that Patriots would not be as healthy as they were yesterday and that Chiefs defence would have played better. But it wasn't meant to be. Maybe next year.
