Well, Serena better be careful because she doesn't want to give the French fans too much to cheer.
And now we'll have a TB on Chatrier and the ref calls the match because of rain. I told you she would regret not putting this girl away and now she has to come back after the rain delay and win a TB.

Serena should have been off the court by now. She had so many opportunities in that second set and now a tiebreaker.

Well if anyone can regroup and figure it out Serena can because winning a tiebreak to stay in the match won't be easy for Kristina either.
I hope Kristina didnt get tips from Patrick..just dont trust him...I think he gave Cornet tips on beating Serena especially in that Dubai match.
Don't be silly. Patrick is not giving tips to anyone on beating Serena. Is it his fault that Serena is 0-9 on BP's in the 2nd set? When she wins, he wins. Why wouldn't he want her to succeed?

Why would he give any player tips on beating Serena? When she loses, he loses. When she wins, he wins. I mean at this point if anyone playing Serena doesn't know what to expect from her, then those players deserve to lose against her. Serena's game isn't exactly a secret at this point. Besides if he saw any hope in coaching one of the French players, he probably would be coaching one of them.

Hallelujah, Serena was doing her best to try and make a third set happen, but glad she stopped herself. This match was a very good test for Serena. She played a great server and someone who really went for her shots.
this was never in doubt...just a lull in her march to #22..
Serena s resurgence was prompted by nearly losing her life and knowing that she has been given a second chance to live..she refocused and Patrick was there at the right time and place.She gets along with him and thats great for a working relationship...she was nearly turning 30yrs and thats a turning point for most people ...she realized that she has to maximize her potential before its said and done....Patrick just happened to be there otherwise she would have done this wit another coach because she is that good.Patrick is lucky to be coaching such a talented player..he should thank his lucky stars because Serena has made him look good....lucky to be working with a finished product that was finessed by Richard and Oracene...
