Rogers going in fresher than most wouldve expected. A 2 hour 7 min match against Murray?! Shorter than most WTA 3 setters

Murray is hardly done. In fact, I think hes got a better chance of winning more majors than Rafa or Roger, at least after Wimb!

Agreed. This will help enormously, plus now a day off before playing the final. If he loses, it won't be because he's physically spent.

Murray and Djokovic seem likely to share most of the big tournaments for a few more years, although if Roger can play like that at 34 who's to say he won't hang around for three more years or something? Assuming he doesn't, who's going to get good enough to crash the party on a regular basis? Raonic and Dimitrov are what 24 now? And have gone backwards this year, Nishikori is good enough but plays through injuries for half of each year, Nadal may make a comeback yet I suppose.

It would be a big disappointment for me and a lot of people if Murray didn't win about 4 slams before he was done, especially when you've got Stan running around with a couple under his belt (still can't believe that)

Congrats to no one for voting for Fed in 3 :D

:laydownlaughing That's too funny, considering every other option received at least one vote (even Murray in 3!).

I'm genuinely amazed by the scoreline. Was not expecting that but I'm happy. I said before the tournament began I thought Murray would win the whole thing.

Well, I stepped away and caught the last two games of the second and all of the third. These guys played some great points. Federer is serving magnificently. He looks very well, and Andy seemed to be playing well also. It looks as though Roger was just that bit better when it counted at the business end of the sets; he went for more aggressive returns and pushed the action. He deservedly finds himself in his record-breaking 10th final at SW19--quite a feat in itself.

I was extremely nervous during the match, but I was convinced that if Roger played well there was only one outcome. Now I hope he doesn't get flat. He actually looked like he could have upped his level in a funny way :eyepop

Djokovic will make sure Federer will not serve like he did today thats for sure or maybe Im wrong
Yes. Djokovic seems able to put pressure on Federer, forcing Federer to go for too much. I still think Djokovic is the favorite in the final.

He played well, some things he could have done better which may have earned him a set but there was no beating Roger in this one.

I noticed the picture of a glass pineapple when watching the conf..and now its on here:)..

I was thinking I bet that pic of a glass pineapple tastes better than the one I just cracked open just after the match..:dodgy: not ripe enough I think, bit too green.

me got dull pineapple cardboard woe..me got first world problems y'know.
