And I think Djokovic will make a point to break as quick as possible. To just go ahead and shut down Feds lack of being broken.

Lets talk about something interesting: Nadal could potentially go slamless this year for the first time in forever

Patrick said it was an excellent tactic which didnt allow Serena to play her game. But now they know to expect it.

Well, commentators always talk about how plenty of players know that going down the middle against Serena is a smart play.

Well I am sure they might change tactics a bit if Patrick was discussing it so openly not that it is a big secret

No offense to Serena, but...just once...could one of these women suck it up and play a decent match? If Serena wins 0 and 0 and I won't be surprised. There is literally NO COMPETITION for Serena these days. And it's not because Serena is so much better than everyone else. It's because everyone else sucks. I've been watching tennis a really, really long time - and I cannot remember another time when talent was so sparse on the women's tour. People are forever wanting to debate if Serena is the best ever - but playing in the era she does, where there's so few good players let alone great players? Forget it. That discussion doesn't even register with me. Give me Steffi Graf any day.

I heard Einstein wasn't really as brilliant as everyone says he was; it was just that all his contemporary scientists were lame-brained :-/

Yep. One of those records hes surpassed Fed with that tics me off. Fed went 8 straight years like Borg and Sampras.

Exactly, its an "open secret" and obviously I cant convey the whole thing here. Perhaps ESPN has it on their site.

Consider how young a player would need to be in order to *begin* a 10-year streak.

Precisely. 19? Disgusting. Yes, many of those years he only won 1. But its enough to get the record.

Itll never be broken as far as Im concerned. For all the reasons only 4 men have won 1 in 8 straight years. Injuries. Age.
