Wawrinka's game has been as pathetic as Gasquet, what a shame!

Have not seen a point. I am guessing Roger was good and Stan was not, in a nutshell?

A fair summation. Both semi's were duds. Cilic looked like a player outside the top 200. Stan looked average at best.

As pathetic as Isner too? And Kohlschreiber? Darcis? Mayer? That Roger is one lucky dude that everyone seems to play their worst against him

I was little worried when I saw Fed's first game in the first set, in which Stan had a break point. I was worried as to whether Fed will have an off day serving. Fortunately, he saved the break point, won that game and upped his serve (except for one game in which he had to dig out of 0-40 hole).

I was able to watch the Isner match, and I have to say that was one of the better matches Isner played. His problem was it was Roger on the other side of the net.

^ I saw the 2nd set TB and 3rd set and I thought the same. It was definitely one of the best I've seen Isner play from the baseline. Stan went away after Roger consolidated the break in the 2nd set but it was always going to be tough for him to win this match especially with Roger in great form.

Sorry but I disagree. Not dubts that Roger is in a good form and better than the last three years and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the final but Isner (excluding his torpedo serves) besides of his poor movement (nothing new) the half volleys were awful and many of his shots too. Agree that he had an opponent playing well but he helped him a lot to play even better
Gasquet and Stan? no comments.......

hmmm those guys were different. we both know stan is capable of playing at a much higher level than what he played today. his heart was never in it today

^ I know, just having a little fun with Carol who makes it a point to mention that every one of Roger's opponents plays terribly while Rafa's opponents play great.

Not only they played great but they played amazing and would have beaten anyone that day. Remember the mighty Lopez was hailed as the second coming of Jesus, pronounced Hessooss of course because he'd have to be a Spanish god lol.

Stanimal said in presser that it wasn't a good day for him...he didn't play well for sure but you can't say he was as bad as Gasquet, he won more games and played much better IMO

From what I saw Wawrinka played well until the break in the second, as someone had mentioned earlier.
