2015 Slam Challenge! Wimbledon Edition

Draws are out on Friday, so let's get the party started.

A couple reminders:

1) Make sure you don't double up your picks (have the same guy in two slots).

2) Remember that this year's Slam Challenge includes the World Tour Finals as well. I didn't specify in the rules the points, but it will have to be different because the rules don't quite match. How about this: W 10 pts, Runner up 6 pts, SF 2 pts each. There will also be a Dark Horse, but the player can't have won the WTF within the last two years or be one of the top two seeds going in. We can finalize this all later, but I wanted to share my thoughts now just in case anyone has a problem with them .

God of draw is on Novak's side, but don't forget 2013. The other members of BIG4 were on the other side, only to see Murray didn't need to face Fedal (didn't play any top10 until final) and Novak exhausted in semi against Del Potro. Will history repeat?

1st quarter: Novak has quality opponents from the start. He is heavy favorite. Should be some good matches.
2nd quarter: wide open. Don't know which Wawrinka will show up. He didn't reach semi before, but as on the other slams, once he go deep, anything can happen. By his record, once he reach semi, he has better chance to trophy than Novak and Murray. He won't have quality opponent until quarter. It would be exciting to see Nole-Stan clash on grass.
3rd: Rafa didn't reach quarter after 2011. Time to have little breakthrough. Murray is too tall to pass.
4th: Fed won't have any quality opponent until quarter. Really don't know who to pick other than him. Cannot wait to see quarter against Berd. They didn't play on fast HC or grass for a long time, where Berd does have decent chance.

By form, Novak is co-favorite with Murray and Fed. Pick him as winner soly for favorite draw.
