That was probably the best set Murray has played in this whole tournament. He played superb defense and he was very efficient from the ground.

Double Fault to give Murray the break. Congrats on making the final Andy!

Not so fast! Murray is due his brain freeze any minute.

I doubt it, especially in front of Dani. Murray does that either earlier in a tournament, or in the final.

Is dear sweet Kim in the stands today? :snicker

Berdy gets broken for the 4th time today. Not looking like his day? Nice break by Muzza to get up again. Wish he had this intensity/focus when playing Djoko.

Um, Novak only returns the ball 3 or 4 times better than Berdych. It's not a matter of intensity as much as it is simply being outplayed...

True, but Murray always seems to take a break somewhere and lets up. Not today so much.

Even if he did, he can always count on Berdych self-destructing. With the exception of a few great points, I haven't seen such a lousy performance from Tomas in quite some time

Yeah, a bit disappointing. But have to give credit to Murray. Not everyone can miss every first serve in a game and still win every point. :snicker

Just tuned in for the handshake lol. Great timing although I'm glad I missed it. Much prefer watching the good version of Tomas Berdych rather than Bomas Turdych who has done his best to even the head 2 head like a complete dope in their last 2 encounters.

Didn't see it but surprised it was so easy. Berd is consistently making QF's and semis this year...and he is consistently getting thumped when he does.

To be honest I've never really paid much attention to that h2h. Murray beats him in the slams consistently doesn't he? Reminds me of when Murray was ahead of Roger in the h2h, we all knew that come slam time Roger would probably win. Stats... lies, and damn lies!

What about the commentators on ESPN2 talking about Miami converting to Green Clay
to make it different from IW (as competing with IW has gone out of hand now with Elllison
pouring in money).

Are they just airing some wishful thinking or is the tournament actually has plans of
doing that?

I am in favor of it. I actually would interchange the timings of MC and Madrid and
make Madrid not mandatory instead of MC. But, that won't happen due to powerful
folks behind Madrid Tourney.

They should build a tennis aquarium court. Players play while fish swim beneath them. Very Miami. And after a win, the court opens up and killer whales jump up to snatch the winning ball. Ball girls in bikinis. Umpires and linesmen in speedos... Think of the possibilities.
