You're welcome Kskate2

A little about the race to Sigapore where I mean the following are still able to reach the final 8:

6 Agnieszka Radwanska 26 POL 3345 playing Tianjin
7 Angelique Kerber 27 GER 3330 playing Hong Kong, Moscow
8 Lucie Safarova 28 CZE 3221 playing Linz, Moscow out of Linz first round
9 Flavia Pennetta 33 ITA 3153 playing Tianjin and out first round
10 Timea Bacsinszky 26 SUI 3133 playing Luxembourg
11 Carla Suarez Navarro 27 ESP 3030 playing Moscow
12 Venus Williams 35 USA 2982 Playing Hong Kong
13 Karolina Pliskova 23 CZE 2950 playing Tianjin
14 Belinda Bencic 18 SUI 2900 Withdrew from Tianjin

and 2 players little out of range but still a chance for 10th place

15 Roberta Vinci 32 ITA 2655 playing Linz, Luxembourg
16 Caroline Wozniacki 25 DEN 2641 playing Linz, Moscow, Zhuhai

And it's position 9 and above they are fighting for, and it has never been so tight.

Wozniacki won? Wow, I checked and she looked she was in big trouble and then I didn't get back to the scoreboard. Good to see she's hanging in there! Really needs a good showing this week!

Caroline is officially eliminated from the race. Even if she wins this whole tourney, she cannot get a Visa to Singapore.

Yeah it's been so after Beijing, and what she's fighting for is a place as no. 10, and that she has a fair chance to reach if she fares well in Linz, Moscau and the little WTA final in Zhuhai after the finals in Singapore - but let's recap the racelist:

0 Serena Williams (withdrawn from Singapore)
1 Simona Halep ROU 5790
2 Garbine Muguruza ESP 4511
3 Maria Sharapova RUS 4322
4 Petra Kvitova CZE 3491
5 Angelique Kerber GER 3330
6 Agnieszka Radwanska POL 3245
7 Lucie Safarova CZE 3221
8 Flavia Pennetta ITA 3153
9 Timea Bacsinszky SUI 3133
10 Carla Suarez Navarro ESP 3030
11 Venus Williams USA 3011
12 Karolina Pliskova CZE 2950
13 Belinda Bencic SUI 2900
14 Roberta Vinci ITA 2655
15 Caroline Wozniacki DEN 2641

Caroline can in Linz- if she wins of course - get 100 points , as her 16th best result is 180 points
in Moscou - if she wins - get 290 points - if she loose final 125 points
in Zhuhai - if she wins - get 520 points

You can make the same calculations with the other players but always remember the 16th best result. And there are other rules but take that as a basic rule.

And why is she - I hope - fighting for the 10th place? Because Caroline is one of the only top 10 players (3 I think) able to get a bonus in the end of the year of $250000 (in her case) - also a good amount to be fighting for me thinks, and because of her injuries and early esxits lately she's relatively fresh - compared to the rest of the players - well many anyway.

Life is complicated but doable - she's "ONLY" missing 393 points;).

So the draw in Moscou has never been so interesting as this year- will be revealed Sunday - as they've not revealed who'll get the wildcards - and according to the tournament staff - there are many.

Another poor match from Caroline - sorry to say but it's true. No sparkle, no commitment, no joy of playing. She should skip Moscau and concentrate about the mini WTA final in Zhuhai. Hope she'll rebound in 2016 after this miserable year.

Sorry, hoergren. It's been a puzzling year for her. Hope she can get some rest, get completely healthy and get ready for 2016. She's still young so not even close to being done yet!

No rest that soon. Caro might not have finished in top 10. But, I think she has now qualified for the inaugural edition of the "Biggest Losers Touney". BLT is being held in china and consists of top 12
players who did not qualify (or serving as alternate) for Singapore event. It is a mandatory event for losers and therefore she has to play in it.
