I do think Maria will prevail, but in 3 sets. Genie will put enough ground pressure on Maria to win a set, but not enough to win 2 sets.

As much as I want Eugenie to win, I think Masha will outdo her in a close third set. It should have wild swings and great shots.

I picked Maria in 3, I am not yet convinced Genie can beat Maria.

Im voting with my heart that Genie can get through in 3. Although at this stage in a slam its much harder to beat Maria than it is during the first week. I say the best chance for her to go out before the final is against Halep.

Pova has to beat herself for an upset. Bouchard does not have anything that can trouble her except hitting early and taking time away. That is just not enough.

Looks like Genie left her backhand at home. Way too many errors. Pova gets the first set rather easily.

Maria takes the first set 6-3 on the strength of 2 break of serves. Genie could not break.
The first set had lots of unforced errors, 20 for Genie and 11 for Masha. The Ladies only played 63 points.
