And Kvitova will have another chance at a Wimbledon title. Can't say my goal was for there to not be a new grand slam champion, but my goal was for Serena to win, so basically the same thing. Once she went out, I was pulling for Sharapova. Once she went out I moved to Kvitova or Kerber, who took out Sharapova, or Lisicki. And all of you saw that I think, just rehashing. The point was and is that I don't want to see Halep or Bouchard win this thing and we all know Safarova isn't good enough to win this thing. Of course I was pulling for Makarova to beat Safarova. Anyways, somehow I've ended up rooting for the only player in the draw who already has a slam. And I'm not even that big of a fan of hers. I've always liked Kvitova. But shes' extremely frustrating. She's the only woman on tour who I legitimately think could challenge Serena Williams, if she would just rein in those shots. Because their amazing, those shots of hers. Her game is so big. And she's got the lefty advantage. But she's just too inconsistent and that's on top of, and partially probably because she's a head case. I mean, she's way too good to be playing as many 3 set matches as she does. But she's just loses focus or whatever and then has to find a way to win.

Anyways, still planning on watching Bouchard v Halep. Pulling for Bouchard. But I think it's more likely that Halep will come through.

Dare I start to believe Petra can win the title? She looked focused this entire tournament, which is highly unusual. She has the game to win a string of finals at Wimby. Let's see if she can hold herself together for one more match. The outcome, as always, is on her racquet.

Sorry to see Safarova lose. I like her game, and have told my daughter she is the player to emulate. Solid all around, nothing crazy.

1) I am disappointed by Genie, I expected more from her against Simona. Kvitova has a good chance to win it if she holds her nerve.

2) Technically Lucie is beautiful. Mentally.. dont come near her! if you want your daughter to play ammateurs tennis with no high aspirations then Lucie is perfect. If you want your daughter to be competitive then run away from Lucie. Mentally she is a total mess.
