I'm not one note in preferences, even if Federer makes the final he may lose that but just saying as a fan of tennis, Raonic in the final would be puke making viewing for a final. I appreciate the progress he's made and his serve is awesome but he's horrible to watch. At least we agree on that!
Yes, cool.
But you can be a bit one-note. "As a fan of tennis" is a bit of a laugh, since there is no way ever, even if hell freezes over you would root for Nadal, but other than that, I'm sure you're all about what is best for tennis.
Likewise for you and Federer
No, that's where you're wrong. I often root for Federer. I like his game, I appreciate his movement on court, and, where he doesn't threaten Rafa, which is most of the time, I'm happy to see him win. You do not have the same generosity towards Nadal.
Judicious and fair as always, admirable and rare traits. I keep wondering if you will begin to straighten pictures, properly arrange your knick knacks etc, or are you without a strong preference. I suspect you are cool with either man going to the final. The more true contenders, the more fun for us.
Welcome, Donald. Forgive me for not saying it sooner. Surely you would be the rare monkey who finds me "judicious and fair," though I like the assessment. Most think I'm pretty partisan, but what do they know, eh? For the record, my pictures are not only irregularly hung, some are just leaning against the wall, and my knick-knacks perch precariously on piles of books. Fastidious I am not. Nor am I in my tennis opinions. Sometimes I'm glad to see the young guys come up, sometimes less so.
Now that Dimitrov and Raonic are both out, I do still look forward to where they go from here, especially Grigor, who I'm beginning to have great hopes for.
As for Sunday, and evenhandedness…is there an option that they could both lose? :laydownlaughing
