I've been saying it for a while. I'm very worried about a Kei match up with Roger

The thing I love about Kei, is that he seems to be able to take on any one of the big 3. This is what tennis has needed for a while. This isn't a Nalbandian late season tease. This is REAL

It's all on Federer now! He has this opportunity; let's see if he can cash in and take advantage of it!

Wouldn't go that far. Kei could beat Roger playing his 2014 best. Roger will have experience on his side, but...

No guarantee at all! I'm very nervous about Cilic, and even more concerned about Kei.

What on earth just happened? Anyone able to give me a brief summary of the match? Djokovic off colour or did Kei just step up to the plate? Haven't been able to get online since watching the QF.

Kei played great offensive tennis. Novak never quite showed up except for a bit in the 2nd, but it would have taken peak Novak to have had a chance. All credit to Kei, but Novak never quite hit his stride, tough though when the other guy is popping winners off both sides.

I would not say Novak did not show up. Novak was just outplayed and outsmarted
by Kei. Let us give proper credit where it is due.

Oh I'm not saying Roger will or should win! This might be his last great chance! Wimbledon was his for the taking, but Nole was allowed to come back! If Roger had attacked the net more, he would already have #18! This might be his very last chance! People aren't afraid of him and his stubbornness to try and slap winners from the baseline has cost him many times these last several years!

Agreed GSM. It was more about Novak not being allowed to play. He resorted to "won't miss tennis" but Kei just stepped up and hit winners

I don't agree, and don't think it's taking credit away from Kei, but fair enough. I think Novak never got quite to that next gear, and hit a lot of errors while not even going for big shots.
