Folks, apart from the draw challenge of USTA sponsored by Xerox, there is also the draw challenge
by Tennis Channel, for substantial prizes.

So, there is no more head/heart dilemma, use your head when you fill up the
Tennis Channel Racquet Bracket contest and Heart when you fill up the USTA challenge
sponsored by Xerox.

Tennis channel gives prizes for the top 5 entries. USO official website gives prize only
for the top entry, but it is a huge prize.

Have you ever played the Tennis Channel's draw challenge? I'd rather chew off my fingers than do it again. It's horrible. I don't know why they don't make it better.

I've never tried the USTA's, but I'll take a look.

I do that regularly. I never had any problems doing it as an individual. Many moons
ago, I even won the overall second prize (at that time it was a binocular and a sun visor)
However, there were troubles in dealing with the private group for Tennis Frontier.
The setting up of a private group seems to be messy.

Both Roitbeard and Nehmeth have the same finalist's as me....anti-jinx

Maybe I need to still think about it....I still have time up my sleeve

Still going for a Novak win though, cant make up my mind who he will face in the final.

I better submit my picks while there is still time for the challenge gurus to approve;)

Quarters: Nole-Andy Wawrinka-Raonic Ferrer-Gulbis Dimitrov-Federer

Semis: Nole-Raonic Ferrer-Dimitrov

Final: Nole - Dimitrov

Winner: NOLE!:clap

DH: Berdych- scratch that...I am choosing Federer as my DH.
WC: Cilic

Hopefully that meets the rules!

I need help...I realized that I didn't pick Federer at all. I do suspect he might lose to Dimitrov, but if he wins that match (and frankly I can't be sure in Nole, let alone Dimitrov), Federer will probably go all the way to the final. So I am thinking I should make Fed a DH instead. Any thoughts?;)

IMHO, anyone who does not pick Fed for one of winner/finalist/dark-horse is a fool.

TF7 is wrong, read OP. Fed is eligible for DH as he has not won a GS title in the last eight slams.

Is that right?...hopefully that trend continues:snigger

In this light, I am changing my DH to Federer instead of Berdych and everything else stays the same...I will actually edit my original post as well. Berdy disappointed me a few times this year so I am mad at him.

If Samuel L. Jackson spoke to Roger it'd be something like carpe f***ing diem. Tailor made draw, no sugarcoating it. In theory Berdych is the only one in that half that "should" have a decent chance and that'd be in the semis, a place Berd is unlikely to reach. If he loses to a Dimitrov (a year away from becoming a big time player IMO) or anyone else then it is a debacle. The final with Nole would be close to 50-50 but I'm putting my money where my mouth is.
