Clearly, I'm behind in my replies on this thread. See my post above. Let me know if you agree or disagree.

I agree :D , don't think Gulbis will be taken by the occasion though somehow. Maybe Im wrong, he does get nervous at times.

Yeah, I might be wrong. We'll see, of course. But Gulbis has a knack for practically having a nervous breakdown if something goes wrong. Berdych is another one who can do this. And Novak is a savvy enough competitor to know how to take advantage of the situation. If anything, it could calm Novak down, if you know what I mean.

That's true. It will help to bring as much back as possible when Gulbis is in charge of the rally. Once he starts overcooking his shots, I'll be watching more comfortably.

Relax, Denisovich. Things will go by script: Djokovic will beat Gulbis, Nadal will beat Murray, Djokovic will beat Nadal.

 I sure hope so. You borrowed kiu's crystal ball I hope?

Kskate did pick Novak for the win, but also picked, (ahem) Wawrinka for the final. (*Cough, choke* excuse me.) Kskate2's Crystal Ball â„¢ might be a bit cloudy on this one. ;)

Here's another thought I had on Gulbis v. Djoker, though: Ernie has that big wind-up on his FH. Novak is great at taking time away. He might be eating that that FH for his déjeuner.

I don't.

I think Novak wins. Gulbis has been impressive but I don't see him beating Novak. He might get a set but I won't be surprised if Novak wins in 3.

I'm less-impressed this tournament. Wawrinka was a crack in the glass. My tea leaves are reading Rafa. I'll see you an :emperor: and raise you a :devil

I might get to see some of the first semifinal tomorrow... Would be nice of Novak to get it done in a quick three so that I can see the whole thing. :snigger

I'd like to wish for that on your behalf, but I'm still hoping that Ernie gives Novak a longer outing. :hug
