Eventhough he'd still likely lose a guy like Karlovic doesn't allow his serve to go to muck against the top guys. They may return it with interest but he won't double games away and miss so many first serves. Dunno why Raonic gets so edgy. He has a big weapon and just can't use it.

Break point: 2nd serve. Will Milos double?

Almost did. What is the record for giving away games with double faults I wonder. He did it twice in this match so far.

No idea, ask Sharapova :p

The rallies are so passive and tentative here. Someone blast some winners please before I fall asleep.

Heh heh. A few posts ago this place was getting rowdy... :Lolz:

I hope you got out of bed and are at least watching, lazybones.

I'm still in bed. I think Rafa has this one in hand without me... :)

Assuming that Milos loses this set, he'll have to regroup hugely. I think he's in the category of those that blow all their best ideas in the first set. It would sure be a shock if Rafa loses this match.

In fairness, when it comes to serving, Karlovic is a freak of nature. For someone who serves so big, his first serve percentage is insane. Obviously, this is mostly due to his size. There's a reason only Isner comes close in that regard (combination of pace and high serving percentage).

As an isolated shot, Karlovic's first serve is the best in history, by a comfortable margin.

Raonic really needs to improve his backhand A LOT.

Have a hard time being a fan of the Raonic game... seen too many big serve/big forehand giants. With Ljubicic I am sure he will continue to improve, but he's not much fun to watch.

Much like Isner I only watch him when he's playing the top guys for the very same reason.

Nadal's forehand return on second serve...Smh (shaking my head. Yes, that's the first I ever use this).
