Golum's backhand is letting him down but the forehand has been very good so far.

Why Golum? That seems unfriendly.

Same as JJ, Raonic needs to use body serves more. Doesn't matter how good a returner you are, 130 mph going straight for your head isn't coming back.

A nice BH from Roanic for once.

I always thought Golum fit Stepanek better.

Rad the Impaler?

That is the best nickname of all-time. (Trademark Kieran.)

What's happening? I'm not watching, in fact I'm too lazy to get outta bed and go downstairs and get the laptop. So before I sleep, gimme some reassurance: how's this throw down shaping up?

Looks like Rafa is getting into Milos's service game more and more, but the Canuck is holdinghis own...but how long? If it gets to a breaker , it can get tricky.

Thanks Murat. My own prediction was kinda like that, the obvious one, to be honest. A tight first set, then a more routine second. But Rafa has to continue to hold. How's he serving?

Milos serving lights-out, per usual, and Rafa trying to find his place on the court to deal. Some falling a bit short from Rafa, but he's also pressuring Milos, who has a game plan, and he's doing OK with it. Raonic weakness to now is 2nd serve. If Rafa keeps pressuring him, I think he'll fail, but Rafa has to keep holding serve.
