I picked Novak in 2 could go either way obviously. Hard to gauge rafa's game today as dimi was so error prone.

I picked Novak in 2 could go either way obviously. Hard to gauge rafa's game today as dimi was so error prone.

I chose Novak in 2. Rafa came out of the gates fast, played well, but Dimi was awol for most of the match.

it all depends on whether rafa has a sluggish/slow start to open the match and get himself in gear.. today's match against dimitrov almost had the feel of a walk in the park for rafa and a players's focus tends to wander in such occasions.. on the up side, rafa will have a lot more time to rest up and get ready for the final than he's had all week..

Yes, welcome, anticaria! Rafa was sharp today, and Novak looked kinda grumpy for much of his match. It's hard to call, so I may as well pick Rafa in 3.

mmmm.... I think that shiny outfit (and probably anything else he wears) is going to have some baby spit-up on it. Can't believe he's into his second round of twins.

I missed the Rafa-Dimitrov match. However, unless Nadal served like Goran Ivanisevic, or was at his Roland Garros best, I honestly don't like his chances one bit tomorrow.

Djokovic in straights, maybe 3 sets. The problem is, he will be in every Rafa service game. So even if Nadal plays better as the match progresses, which I suspect he will, he's going to find it hard to hold. It doesn't help that he doesn't return Novak's serve well at all, and is still unsure about his court positioning when returning against the Serb, so he won't be finding it as easy to break.

I think Novak beats him in the first set pretty convincingly. Nadal ups his game in the second, but it won't be enough.

I missed today's matches too. I think Rafa is playing better though, and Nole might be a little off. A close dogged match, with Rafa having a lot to prove.

Nadal in three gruesome, special, dogfight warrior sets...

Ok.. Mr Front.. I have been saying it for the past 3 years whenever Rafa and Djoker encounter, its gonna be Pain. But I see you have brilliantly added this clip of James "Clubber" Lang. :clap

So far in this tournament, Rafa has lost the first set sometimes and the second set sometimes.

In this one, I predict Rafa will lose the third set.
