I am amazed at past pros that can maintain a great shape. From training 6 hours a day to pretty much an hour at the gym and still be in that good of a shape. Amazing discipline.

I feel bad for Halep. She showed moments of greatness but ultimately I don't know that she's the savior of steely nerves and consistency we were all hoping she would be. I'm thinking she's a lot more Radwanska than she is Henin.

3hrs 2mins..ok so the fairytale halep win didn't happen, but haleps level dipped at the end under the baseline onslaught from the queen of scream, despite the 12 double faults her serve was decent enough and not the flaky offering it has been on some occasions..

really absorbing final..3hr 2mins but didn't seem like it..(not boring), haleps story has tended to veer off towards her "boob job" but I feel the tennis will be the story from now on.

5 majors in 10yr for maria..she keeps plugging away. 10yr anniversary win at Wimbledon ?.
