Man, when you fast forward the breaks in a tennis match, the thing is pretty fast. My recorder did not record the last set, so I am upset a bit, but since Roger won, I am happy.
Lots of positives in the first 3 sets I saw. First, against a great returner like Murray, the first break points Roger gave away was when he was serving for the match. And that proves, even if you are TMF, there is nerves involved when you are trying to close a match against a tough opponent. These guys are human.
I liked Roger's movement. In the TB, there was a point where he hit 3 squash shots in a row and defended his butt off, and won that point. Of course he should have never won that point if Andy came forward, but he stayed back. That surprised me because Andy actually started to come forward in the 3rd. set, and was successful. Why not attack there? I was puzzled, but happy to see Roger move that well.
Roger served well too, which he needs to keep up for Rafa, especially the slider out wide on the deuce court.
Federedberg moves on, and it is a good thing,
