Very well played. Great way to win the match. Future slam winner there for sure.

She's still in, her future could be just a few days away!

I don't think she really wants the Bieber, but when you're put on the spot some of anything can come out of your mouth.

For sure. Wouldn't surprise me if she won the whole thing at all. Very calm, cool and collected out there. Li can be a bit of a headcase so beating her wouldn't be a surprise if she plays like she did today.

Wow I was right this time - congrats to Bouchard for a magnificent win. Must go for a Carlsberg then - or do you have any suggestions on a Canadian beer?:clap

PS. By the way the country with second most players in top 100 is Spain - they have eight ;)

So, Ana won her previous match against an opponent whom was not 100% physically, now she lost in match where she wasn't 100% physically.

These things happen, u just never know.

Eugene wrong footed Anna so many times in this match. Even when there is time,
Anna decides all by herself to run to one side and that gets her in trouble.

Maybe she was trying to be Canada-loyal but the drug-taking, egg-throwing boy?
Meh, she probably has zero time to read the tabloids....

Did you see her response? She was embarrassed and she befuddled w/ her answer.

What is the expected new ranking of Eugene if she does not do anything further at AO?
Any WTA number crunchers out there?

I think she rises to 30

who? Genie? she will be ranked at least 18! :)
from 31 to 18

She's currently on the virtual ranking list #18 and can - if she wins AO rise to #11. Runner up she'll be #15 so it'll be great for Genies army :)

Thanx Moxie I'll see if I can buy that Molson in Denmark :) - looks great:

I didn't know that it's the biggest brewery in the world with a sale to USA alone of more than 5,5 billion us $ And it seems they work together with Carlsberg e.g. in Russia.

Well, well, well--what a match that was last night. Watching Bouchard was like watching the young Williams or Seles come in at such a tender age. Hell, Ana had that grit in 2008 as well. The future looks very promising for the Ice Princess. I hope she takes the whole thing, but Li will be a very tough challenge for Genie. Congratulations to Bouchard and Ana for a fine match and a great fortnight.

The whole match her face was snow white, soon as she was asked that question, her face turned to red like a tomato.

Here is one last pictures of Genie with a gift from "Genie Army".
