Rest that knee and he should be ready to explode on the American HC swing.

LOL Britbox, you pulled me back in, I hold you responsible if I am fired for chatting here...

Shawn, that is some good Spanish.

Although I must admit it is DP performance who stir my interest for tennis every now and then.

Well, he's won so much recently, time to give others a chance... :)

Nadal never needs to give anyone any "special chances" on grass. There is a reason that the Darcis's, Rosols, Kendricks, Haase's, and Petzschners have troubled him so much over the years. His game on the surface just isn't all that special.

Apart from his five finals and two victories, including wins over all the other top players.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Not special at all...

Shawnbm, Derek is living in Chile but is actually Argentinean. Used to go by the name Nalbandcoria for that reason... In an old age where the discussion was on Federer vs Sampras, who was the GOAT, etc ... We were young...

Well Djokovic will need to play with a bit more authority next match. Del Po took it to Djokovic.

Imagine if his knee didn't bother him and he'd served up to potential. :s

One of the shockers of the match was how well he served, though. Who would have thought he'd serve 22 winners to DP's paltry 4? That should be key on Sunday, especially if he's a little tired.

Djokovic served amazing alright. Murray served brilliantly in his match too and his amazing ROS made Janowicz' serve look plain ordinary. Quite annoying actually :)

He'll be fine for Sunday. And I would venture to say DP would have far more than a paltry 4 if he were serving against anyone else. ;)

On serve Novak has worked very hard on moving his serve around the box, changing speeds as well as direction. This will hold him in good stead for the Final. JJ was bombing his serves, but Andy quickly adjusted to the speed and was returning even his first serves with interest. That's just how good Andy is.

OK, I get the point about ROS from the master, but still...serve is controllable, to some extent, and JM couldn't make a weapon of his, today. The really stunning thing is, without it, and his gimpy knee, he gave Novak such a scare. (OK, obviously the knee wasn't so gimpy.) :)
