Ferrer is not playing well at the moment. Lots of shanks.

*fingers crossed for DelPo* - what was it that he hurt?

The same knee he hyperextended the other day. He literally had the same kind of fall today and at first he just laid there like Azarenka did in pain. I didn't think he was getting up, but finally he made it to his feet and walked to the chair on his own strength.

I think he might be affected by DP's injury. You know some people get mental when their opponent is injured.

DP takes the opening set behind 2 breaks 6-2

Go Delpo. Even though is movement is somewhat compromised (not as bad as you would expect based on the fall he had), he is hitting the ball incredibly.

This is the best I've seen Delpo play on grass which is surprising after the fall. The aggressiveness of his ground strokes and desire to come to net are just what the doctor ordered against a player like Ferrer, even if it was out of necessity due to a gimpy knee.

^ This.

Although I thought he played pretty well against Nadal that one year, but you're right this is better. More aggressive.

I just saw the replay of the knee-incident. I can't believe he is still playing. He should be in the hospital right now.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.

On some monster FH's from DP he breaks at 4-4 and will serve for a 2 set lead.

Wow. Ferrer is taking it on the chin. I didn't see this coming. A wounded JMDP is twice as dangerous!

DP is on fire right now. He's really not missing anything (BH, FH, serve, net is all working).

Im really surprised about Ferrer, but it ain't over yet. I must say Ferrer looked much better at last years Wimbledon than this year.

Delpo in straights?
Not a tough pick,eh?

I thought Daveed was going to do better than this.

DP has alot to do w/ it. He's been firing some missiles and he wasn't missing early on.

DP is firing on all cylinders but he's up against a guy who won't concede. I don't see Ferrer winning this but if DP is getting out in straights, he'll have to keep the level to the end. He ain't facing Berdych, Ferrer will gnaw away until he gets a chance...
