nah.. Christopher Steele is the guy who put together the original dossier. The people who asked him to do it had political motivations, but he's just an intelligence analyst. Been around for years, I think he genuinely believed in the sources he used

Also.. I have to say.. this Joe Kent resignation. The guy, in his resignation speech, has given fodder to all the closet anti-semites, that Israel and her lobby has forced Trump into this Iran adventure. I've had an ongoing argument with a Jewish friend of mine. I had to pay him £1 when Trump won, super pissed me off! But.. I've warned my friend that this doesn't end well for Israel's relationship with America in the long term. That resignation speech is out there now. That's going to be mainstreamed I fear. The claim is going to become a thing, without any genuine intellectual challenge. I think a generation of Americans are going to be less than supportive of Israel going forward. As I told him, this era will end up being pyrrhic for Israel's longer term interests
