I thought some of it was soo funny especially that part about Stan Wawrinka' shorts he wore lol! they were both on the money, they were disgraceful.
That part about burning those shorts was the highlight of the conversation. I think they were polite, god knows what they talk when no one is listening :) Stan and Novak will go live too, I believe Stan will have something to say about those shorts and that final.

Stan - Novak one hour video was also fun. Looks like Stan makes Novak very angry when they are on court :) No wonder, the way those 2 GS finals went it's like copy-paste and Novak admitted he should not allow it to happen 2 times in almost exact same way. I hope there will be more of these videos, it's fun.

I was not a fan of his game, but he has a wicked and clever sense of humor. He'll make a great commentator.
Andy didn't have a sense of humor when he was playing..ask Novak..Novak made a mockery tennis quirks and Andy waited for him in the locker room. As I recalled, Andy challenged Novak's manhood and the Serbian Slayer" as Samson aka Clay death nickname him" quickly exited "stage Left"..

Patrick Mouratoglou (Serena Williams' coach) launches a 5 week tournament featuring pro players at his academy on the French Rivera (Nice). The tournament is set to start on May 16th and incorporate social-distancing with minimal staff on site.It will be live streamed with 10 matches held every weekend over the course of five successive weekends.Microphones will be on court so fans watching on live stream can hear dialogue between players and coaches. So far David Goffin,Benoit Paire and Alexei Popyrin have agreed to play in this tournament.

While the great Rafael Nadal is trying to save lives we have the likes of Patrick Mouratoglou who are worried about tennis tournaments.:negative:

This is a tennis forum.

I know. That’s why I’m commenting about this “tennis news” and how it’s a bad decision and highly inappropriate to be organizing a tennis tournament while people are dying and the whole world is battling a pandemic. Unless I missed that the tennis tournament has the goal of giving all the profits to charities, support, etc.???

Not much tennis news to report, unfortunately, but I'm finding Andy Roddick's appearances on various channels to be very engaging and entertaining. Maybe he'll get a bigger role in the media once we come out of the other side.

I agree. I’ve been watching his appearances on the Tennis Channel in the US. He’s funny and refreshingly honest. He freely admits when he played poorly, when his opponents were too good, or when people in matches involving others played well. I think he has a realistic view on his place in tennis history — there are no delusions of grandeur going on.

Here’s the rest:

Just watched them. Funny question from Roger why Rafa chose a left hand :) Everyone keeps saying they are not touching a racket during this lockdown. I have a bit hard time believing, but maybe they are really resting and just keeping physical training. I wonder how long it will take them to gwet back where they were and will it cause some unwanted stress on their bodies and possible injuries.

I watched this one too, it was said on serbian language. He was on zoom with Troicki, Dutzee, Krajinovic, Tipsarevic, Zimonjic and a few other serbians athletes. They were discussing current situation for all sportsmen not only tennis and it was done in quite relaxed way. Troicki was half drunk, he downed a few 0.5 liter beers and was holding a giant stuffed Hello Kitty :) Anyway, yeah Novak said that he don't want to be forced to be vaccined. If the vaccine comes in like a few months time when the tour resumes he wants to be in position to choose, but it may not be the case and he will have to think about it.

I'm sure all of them are going to think about the vaccine, if to get it or not

I read that yesterday, that is his opinion, which I disagree with, though it will take some time before a proper vaccine to be tested for COVID19.
This is where I don't understand people. There ARE vaccines that we have to take to travel...either mandated by our country or the one we're traveling to. Some countries require a yellow fever vaccine, and you have to carry your "yellow card" with you. Others are recommended and people take them before traveling, like Hep A, etc. I wonder if these same people object to those and don't take them. As you say, MM, it will be a long time before there's a vaccine. I wonder if tennis will have to wait for that before returning to play. It's a very international sport.
