Things beginning to warm up...

Nadal v Khachanov
Delpo v Verdasco
Shapo v Anderson
Milos v Stan

All very interesting. I'm rooting for the Spaniards and Canadians.

What's your take on Nadal/Khachanov? Any concerns?

Yes I think it will be a difficult match! I am expecting a Nadal win in 4 sets with maybe a couple of 7-5 & 7-6... I don’t think Nadal has reached his peak form yet but this match will definitely help him get in the groove of things.

I have the same opinion about Federer’s boring servebot game and the same suspicions about Federer and his career resurrection at 36-37 years old. Oh well. We do have something in common afterall.

What career resurrection exactly would this be? Always laugh when Nadal fans come up with this nonsense while conveniently forgetting/ignoring the FACT that Federer was making slam finals before his knee surgery and the only guy giving him trouble who he actually faced was Djokovic who beat him in 2 back to back Wimbledons and the 2015 USO. Now seeing as Djokovic then went to shit and either lost early or wasn't playing at all, of course Federer was a prime favourite to win. Duh.

Also, the AO was speeded up a fair bit and Federer is a much better fast court player than Nadal so the result while it annoyed you lot, shouldn't surprise as much as you'd like to make out, nor is it one bit suspicious. The guy with the better serve and better shot making skills should almost always win on a fast court.

dull is playing in the day today. Hope the quicker conditions help Khachanov. But then again the sun will make the ball bounce higher which will favour mowgli.

And this 32 yo, 17 slam winner is playing sleeveless. What a jerk.

Overall the sunny conditions help the pleb. He wants a higher bounce above all things to help perfect his boring play. Khach will drown in unforced errors out there.

With his beautiful body he should be allowed to play shirtless. Hopefully one day!

The match will be interesting to watch, compared to the two previous matches of Ralph. Khachanov is a ball basher
and that too the mindless variety. For every winner he hits, he will make at least two UFE. So, I don't have doubts over
the final result. Most of his UFEs come from trying to finish the points way too early.

There is a small chance (less than 5%) that Khachanov's bashing will click and he could up end the Peasant.
But, I would not bet even $5 on it.

a bit annoying having to watch these matches on my Mac. It's showing on Amazon Prime in the UK. The one good thing though is that I can have all the live matches on different tabs and just flick around. Make lemonade out of lemons I guess!

And the roof conditions helps to your “master” who is the most tacky player of all the tour besides to be a lot more boring
