I said this on the other thread just now. It's such a BS argument that someone was on the "sauce," and then, when they really need it, at the later stages of their careers, they demure. What sense does that make? It only allows you to say that if they play well, younger and fitter, they're doping. If they get older and have issue...oh, my! They forgot the phone number of their doctor? Is it too much to say that you play fitter and better when you're younger? No, probably too much common sense for you, and surely I'm just naive.
Then it would be more logic to say that when they play well, older and fitter, they are doping, isn't?. Poor DarthFed, he doesn't know what else to say :mail::confused:

Instead it's Ferrer who has physical issues. Nadal will be fine, even in this hot weather. He is a machine.
I love when Fed fans expect every Rafa's opponent to step up and send him home. Rather have Roger win the whole thing than to expect others to help his cause out.

I am actually wondering if

I love when Fed fans expect every Rafa's opponent to step up and send him home. Rather have Roger win the whole thing than to expect others to help his cause out.
I am not the one who said that though. Roger has always won slams by himself.

Second time the trainer came to help Ferru. I hope Rafa finish the match soon instead to take it with some calm

Ferrer gets an A+ for effort.
Tell that to those that thinks it all comes out of a bottle. I really don't think you can manufacture this much heart except that you have it. People are so cynical.

They should be more worry about Roger thinking who will send him home

Rafa knew what is going on with Ferru and that's why he was taking the match without any effort.

Just imagine this topspin bot was struggling against an injured Ferret. What a draw he's got, not even getting tested.

Ferrer retired. This is the first time in his career he does not end his match in a slam.

First real test will be in the QF(Thiem or Anderson).
Khachanov can maybe sneak a set.

Oh please, spare me of such statement. He was grimacing big time while he was sending over bullets, don't tell me those dhots don't take "any effort".

Sad to see Ferrer go out on the grand Slam stage. Respect earned.

Didn't see the second set but he was blasting BHs in that first set.

Wow, you're cynical. No faith in guys that can give blood in terms of effort?

So let's see. This topspin bot has got a cake draw and the balls are the heaviest ever at USO and the court is high bouncing. I mean how many factors can you have in your favour and he STILL struggles to put away an injured opponent?
