Watching Wawa/Dimi live on Ashe. Some pretty shots but Grigor is so disappointing

I’ll be on my way home Thurs. You should buy a one day pass if you’re able

Have they clarified what the shot click is measuring? It should be until ball contacts the racket. But, that would be too unambiguous.

One of the reason that Nadal has not defended titles in HC and grass it's because his injuries (2009, 2012, 2014, 2016)
Hope this time he will

You're welcome as a fan to think that's one of the reasons but the main reason is he's simply just not good enough except on clay. Btw, I'll cut you some slack regarding his injury at the AO 2014 as this was obvious in terms of his movement later on in the match (though he was getting his ass soundly kicked before he got injured and we'll never know how the match would've entailed) and RG 2016, though this was impossible for anyone to see as he absolutely mangled his first 2 opponents and then stopped playing. Strange. VERY strange. 2009 and 2012 most people saw zero sign of injury whatsoever and they remain dubious to this very day and really only hardcore Nadal fans believe he was injured since there were no visible signs of any impairment.

He also played quite a few more years than those 4 and never defended a single tournament that wasn't on clay but nice try all the same.

That's a good suggestion. @golds girl : The one-day pass is $60-$70 during the week and you get all the courts except Ashe. Also check Craig's list. I once gave away a pair of Ashe tickets that way, because they were a corp. gift and I couldn't use them. (Seemed bad form to ask for money.)

What are you taking about something 'strange'? are you dumb? clearly Nadal was playing in Roma injured but he tried to play in RG until he had to stop because his wrist was getting worse and that's why he couldn't play in Wimbledon. In 2009 he couldn't play Wimbledon either because his knee injury and in 2012 the doctors told him that he couldn't play anymore in that bad conditions of his knee or it would be the end of his career. Don't talk about 'strange' things and fake injuries because I can talk too and you are not going to like it....

That boy is too erratic. Nads will stand a mile behind the baseline on return and wait for the errors to pile up. It'd take a huge upset for Nadal to not make the finals, we have to hope someone will make NYC great again by beating him in the finals.
Why don't you let NYC make up it's own mind about what does and doesn't make it great. (Again?? :finger: ) :drums: Also, Nadal is very popular here, so we're good, actually.

Denis and Felix are battling it out. They are both great prospects, but they will need to learn how to serve.
The DF are way too many.

Good for Fritz. He managed to beat Misha Zverev, turning around a 0-2 set lead by the German.

FAA retires with what seems to be ...I don't know, heart issues, speeding heart rate? Not sure but not good for the teenager.
Good for Shapo to sit with him and try his best to console the guy.
I thought you knew, Felix had been diagnosed before with some heart condition.
I don't know what it is exactly, but this does not look too encouraging in the long run.

I heard before that he had an issue but I always assumed it was a one time thing during one match ! Did not know it was an ongoing issue. If that is the case, that is a shame really...

While Muzz goes to the next round playing four sets Wawrinka looks to play better and better or Dimi worse and worse... and he looked a little bit frustrated :banghead::nono:
