I don't know what happens tonight but I will not be as harsh on Roger :) I have seen some good tennis for two sets. He has time to play into form...if he can get out of this pickle.

I will put it like this, looking ahead he'd have lost to Deliciano tonight most likely and if not him then Nick would have trounced him. I don't think that back is healthy and he can't go far if it doesn't hold up

I'm not being harsh on his play, just still pissed he pulled a Rafa with his schedule before this. Play Cincy, probably win it and enter USO as heavy favorite. That was the easy plan staring him right in the face. But he screwed the pooch and this is the result. I don't think he's 100%, he's moved really bad aside from 1.5 sets (mid 2nd through 3rd)
Darth, the thing is, there is no guarantees either way. What if he skips Canada, plays Cincy and gets hurt there ? The problem , in my opinion anyways, was not the scheduling. It was the total rookie mistake of playing a tournament unprepared. You just cannot do that in any age, let alone at HIS age...

It seems he's about to. Best case for Tiafoe, really, was to come this close. He seems to be making up ground as one of the comers amongst the young guns.
He was helped by a rubbish Roger. He did not convince me yet.
