Use this thread to let people know about posters who used to be regulars and now, for whatever reason, are absent. How long of an absence is reason enough to post here I let to anyone´s judgement. I´ll start:

@Billie : Miss my conversations with you. Hope you´re doing fine.

@brokenshoelace : My favorite internet tennis annalist. I am sure he got pissed about AO 2017 result, but anyway I am looking forward to read his analysis again.

@calitennis127 : Liked his tennis analysis too, specially the fact he had no fear to speak unorthodox opinions.

@Asmodeus : I heavily appreciated his usually deep political analysis -- unfortunately the last time I saw him he left a question up in the air that he never answered.

Yes, I won't lie. The reason I didn't initially come back after the AO final was the disappointment so I wasn't quite in the mood to talk tennis. Then there was that period of lull between that and Indian Wells/Miami and I got sort of busy. Plus, at this stage rooting for Nadal, the majors are the only thing that matters so I find myself less interested in other events than I used to be say, 3-4 years ago.

Naturally now that he's in the final of a major, I'm back (only to disappear again if he loses to Stan ). In all seriousness, this is the busiest time of the year for tennis fans up until the US Open, so I'll be around irrespective of Rafa's results.

Has @Kieran posted on the new boards yet? I imagine that if (or when) Rafa wins, he'll come prancing back in .

Yes, @Iona16 was always good to have around. Hope she makes it back one day but it's been a long time.

@nehmeth had pretty much lost interest in tennis and was caring for his Dad and a puppy last time I checked.

Used to enjoy @BackhandDTL (Momo)'s posts. Always good value.

Most of the others I enjoyed reading have drifted back - Yourself, @MikeOne, @Mastoor and a bunch of others.

@MargaretMcAleer hasn't been around since the merger. Really good poster in the WTA section on DT. Hope she comes back.

@Billie is also missed. She helped me a lot on the DT site. hope she comes back, she said she would at some point.

I just learnt from El Dude he's a drama queen and he pitched hissy fits like that on TW too but if you check his drama thread he's active again...

Board is getting big, on mtf these dramatic exits are happening all the time, ofc there's always happy end too cause the poster always returns.....

I miss Clay Death & Divine Metamorphosis. I 1st met Britbox on Camelot & seemed a nice guy when we were chatting along with Jenny so when Clay asked us to support him I decided to join. (I got invited to join Camelot from twitter for my love of equines. I sprung the fact I was a bit of a rhyme artist on him at the last minute.) I don't like Clay's pornographic material or agree with his stance on drugs but he was nice to me & we talked horses & he shared horse pictures with me as well as music & appreciated my poetry & had fun with me & a chat. Divine Metamorphosis also shared horse pictures but she wrote poems too as well as having a chat & it was nice to talk to someone else who was poetically minded. I didn't like her explicit pictures either. She shared a lot. I didn't have to talk tennis like everyone else if I didn't want. I could talk about whatever I wanted with no thoughts of repercussions. I only came on when I wanted to post poems or waste time because I was writing a few longer pieces & I like to see how much I've done & think I've done a lot. I liked the family feel on here. Since being invited to chat, I kinda enjoyed chatting except when I found out I got in with the wrong crowd & had to put up with backstabbing & hate but now I've made a few friends & the backstabbing & hate has been dealt with & I can say what I want again & realise that some people are bantering with others & name-calling isn't always meant & I have got friends. I just need to calm down again & not worry then I won't be as chatty though I can have a laugh with people.

Where is Masterclass? He seems to have totally disappeared & he always wrote interesting pieces & treated people with respect. I know that you don't just get respect, there are more ways of respecting people & respect is a 2-way thing so in order to get treated with respect you have to treat others with respect but it's nice when people treat others with the respect, appreciation & consideration they deserve.

I know that you don't just get respect, there are more ways of respecting people & respect is a 2-way thing so in order to get treated with respect you have to treat others with respect but it's nice when people treat others with the respect, appreciation & consideration they deserve.

I'm glad Ann has revived this thread. I miss @JesuslookslikeBorg a lot. Also @nehmeth...maybe he'll be re-inspired with Novak back. And the endless call out to @Iona16. She was really good people.
