Djokovic. One straight forward set, the other on a tie-break.

Should be Nole in a quick two.

He's barely even hitting the ball out there against Richie. Conserving energy?

Also picking him to win in 2.

Novak will win, but he's playing a lot of matches lately. If Stan is brisk, this might go to three. I can't imagine Stan winning, though. Novak's a winner, not Stan, and it would require a huge collapse from Novak for Stan to be able to manage the "W"...

Stan might take it to 3, but probably only if Djokovic does a walkabout in the 2nd. He won't make it easy, though.

We'll be opening the live chat for the semis tomorrow, so do come by and chat during the match. This one starts (not before) 8pm in Britain, so we'll open the chat 15 minutes or so before.

He's going to have to tighten it up a lot to win in 2. Gasquet took him 3, and all he had riding on it was pride. However, I expect Novak will re-discover his motivation tomorrow.

In order to repay the debt to Fed for getting him a gold medal, Stan would take
out Djokovic and then lose to Fed. ;)

Novak in 2. I think he will feel the pressure to save energy for the final, and thus come out highly motivated.

I think this is right - Nole will have to try get this one done quick. I was surprised he went to 3 against Gasquet. I was surprised he went to 3 against Roger! He's looking a bit jaded, and Stan will be fresh and full of beans for this. I think Nole will have to dampen the Swiss ardour early on - or suffer the consequences tomorrow...

Stan should not be embarrassed to take a set since Fed did not take one.
