Fernando Verdasco and David Marrero out of nowhere become champions defeating the Bryan brothers who are without a doubt the best team in the last decade or so
7-5, 6-7, 10-7

I hate these super tie breakers and no-ad scoring. Why can't they playe regular
three sets. STB is like coin toss.

BB lost a little mojo after USO loss that would have completed the calendar grand slam.

That's great, herios! I couldn't watch today, but happy for them, and your man, Verdasco.

@GSM: I don't mind the special rules for doubles…shortens matches for the crowd waiting for singles, and encourages more singles players to play some dubs once in a while. That said, DC still uses the full format, and you might think the YEC's could, too. Personally, I'm cool with it, though.

In DC they play five regular sets and they don't have tie breaker in the 5th set.

All I am asking for 3 sets with a TB even in the 3rd set (just like they play in singles).
At least for WTF, they should get rid of this coin toss (also known as super tie breaker).
Also, this no-ad scoring against the very spirit of tennis rules (more on it later).

I just watched the replay of their final, and the Verdasco/Marrero speech. Even it was a great example of their teamwork, and not a dry eye was left in the house. Good job by them.
