As for me, I like to see Nara take this.

Saw the match between Kurumi and Klara in the first round, it was such an amazing turnaround for the sweet Japanese player. She caught my eye two years ago, when she played so well in Vancouver, unusual power and agility from such a small frame! Heather Watson is playing well here, caught quite a bit of her match against Vinci and Heather displayed good depth with her shots and some fine backhands down the line. Leading Alison winning first set 6-3 and the rains came.
In fact I have seen all four semi-finalists play in various tournaments I have covered. I like this tournament for the fact it is on an Island, just the same terra ferma I live on.

Saw most of the first set, Madison had so many break chances but did not capitalize, and eventually the power strokes of Heather prevailed. Really happy for Heather, hope she has a fine year.
