It looks like a weak field but you never know do you. I follow Clara Tauson who - after my humble opinion - has done the right thing concentrating on 250 tournaments getting used to the speed and collecting points. She's 4th seeded this week and is also in the main draw in 250 Charleston which comes after the ongoing 500 Charleston. If it goes well she could be in the main draws in the clay tournaments in Europe. Not easy to be a player from a country who hasn't a tournament to exchange wildcards with. She's done it the hard way. From her victory in 250 Lyon

Seems like Clara got a pretty decent draw
R1: Qualifier
R2: Buzarnescu (132) or Qualifier
QF: Most likely Paolini (103) or Kristie Ahn (119)
SF: Most likely Saisai Zheng (52) or Martincová (100)

Thin air no good for Tauson so she's left the building after her first clay tournament since French Open -well

The local wildcard won the tournament. World #1 on the juniors rankings in 2019, where she won US Open junior title, and a new promising star on the WTA tour. Well done
