Isner has been criticized for playing W-S, since he became a contender for the USO. You can't criticize him for NOT playing it. I think he skips in favor of USO.

1. No, Isner is never a contender for USO; get real.
2. I am not criticizing him for not playing here. In fact, if it is a choice, I hail him.
3. But, my guess is that he is hampered and that is why he is not playing.

Like it or not, he's been criticized in the past for playing it, for that reason. I don't know if that's why this year.

One of his motivation is to stay high up in the Bonus challenge by playing lots of tourneys, to increase his chances. However, given that they have got rid of that, he probably does not feel the name of the
