Cilic shocks everyone by winning in five. The Croat is playing well and in the big moments. Novak's confidence may be shaken a bit by the match with Anderson. Then again, Novak could win in four or five sets; I don't think he wins in straights.

It's a tough turnaround for Nole and Cilic gave him a lot of trouble last year in the same round. Still got to go with Nole but this could go 5 again.

"Cough Drop" was happy to see Novak taken to five by Anderson. He will be channeling Coach Ivanisevic, and hopefully none of Mom's home remedies. Still picking Djokovic in four sets.

I think THIS is the most competitive of all the QFs and could go 5 because Nole and big-hitters are like oil and water....

Even Kudla took a set off Cilic. That is how great Cilic is playing currently. But, I do remember watching this match last year. Cilic really played well last year. So, I give him a set this time.

I have watched him in bits and pieces. He is not looking impressive. I think he is looking even less formidable than last year's Wimby form, forget about USO form.

I am still having nightmares about the level Cilic played at against Roger at the Open. That was scary and if he gets close to that, he gives himself a chance to win against anyone. But I am not sure he is anywhere near that level here, so I will give him a set but that's it.

I'll have to admit that Cilic has rebounded nicely after his injury. He couldn't possible catch lightning in the same bottle again could he? Maybe a set but that's it.

The scary thing is "the streak" Nole has over Marin! Nadal owned Berdych until this past AO with 16 wins! It's the season for these streaks to come to an end! Let's hope Nole can hold him off one more time! :lolz: :snicker :laydownlaughing

Half the time I try to decipher why that emoticon is there, and the other half of the time, the emoticons are all I can see.

maybe mr cilic will be catching lightning in a different bottle.

I think he has a bottle to catch u s open lightning and another new bottle to catch Wimbledon lightning.

So what you're saying is, Cilic has more than one bottle.
