Cheerful stuff! Let's hope there's no accidents, mishaps, spills or slips...

its been dry over here for ages..but it does not matter too much to the grass as moisture in the soil is carefully controlled so watering the courts would have happened a fair bit..

obviously hot sunny weather over the Wimbledon fortnight baking the grass over 2 weeks would change that, but grasscourts always start off on the same level every year no matter what the weather is up to.

My preferred solution by a comfortable distance is to give us more grass. There's enough money in the game that tournaments should be able to maintain grass courts. I personally find it a bit silly that the calendar now consists of four weeks of grass court play when you have an entire nine week swing entirely devoted to clay with other clay court tournaments dotted throughout the remaining weeks which are dominated by outdoor hard courts, for the most part.

At least they're introducing an extra grass week next year but there is no logic in the current set up of the tour regarding grass. There are no Masters 1000s on grass in the foreseeable future though, still.
