According to some poll, fans expect Lisicki to be the toughest match for Serena on her path to the title. Let's hope for some good tennis from the German. She is capable of it. I expect a Serena victory though.

Looking forward to the other matches as well.

Lisicki isn't the Kuznetsova of Wimbledon, and many must have forgotten Petra and Li, who are far and away bigger potential threats, imo!!

I actually consider Lisicki a bigger threat. She goes for broke at Wimbledon. She loves grass, she loves her history here, and she always peaks this time of year. I still expect Serena to win it by far.

I am curious to see Stephens v. Puig. I hope Stephens wins. It would be nice to see her make a push into the top 10.

I see The Robson v. Kanepi as an interesting match for a few reasons. Robson obviously thrives on confidence building tournaments, but will she do well under the pressure of home turf? Also Kanepi has done well on grass in the past.

Welcome to Manic Monday at Wimbledon.....my picks of the interesting match ups for me are............
Williams v Lisicki.....well Sabine will have to have her serve and ROS 'On' and also be more controlled in her ground shots for me to take a set off Serena.I will go with Serena in 2 sets.
Radwanska v Pironkova.....these 2 ladies loves the grass.I feel it will be a tightly contested match.Radwanska in 3 sets.
Stephens v Puig....I wasnt impressed with Stephens last match. She did find a way to win.Stephens in 3 sets
Robson v Kanepi.....Robson can count herself lucky she is still in this tournament. To her credit she did turn the match around and win.Maybe
feeling the pressure of being in her home tournament.Kanepi is having a good run here at Wimbledon coming back again from a achilles injury.Kanepi when 'on' is a sweet striker of the ball.Though she can be a Head Case.I will go for the upset here.Kanepi in 3 sets.
Kvitova v Carla Suarez Navarro.....Can Kvitova seize her opportunity now that Sharapova and Azarenka have gone from the bottom half
of the draw? that is the burning question.I will go with Kvitova in 3 sets.Knowing she goes walk about in the 2nd set.
Li Na v Vinci.....Li in 3 sets. She should win in straight sets....though after watching her last match....I dont think so.
Bartoli v Knapp.....Bartoli in 2 sets.
Flipkens v Pennetta.....Flipkens in 3 sets.....though good to see Pennetta getting this far on the grass.

Hmmm, let me look at who's history here makes for a bigger threat.

Petra, former champion and semifinalist or Lisicki, semifinalist....I'll go with Petra as a greater threat.

Petra has to make it there first. I trust Serena to make it to the final before Petra. Petra has been one big giant disappointment this year.

Both Kvitova and Flipkens take the opening set breaker in their respective matches

Lisicki is not backing down. Serena better kick it up a notch if she doesn't want this match to go the distance. They are pretty even at the moment.

Serena better pick it up a notch or Sabine is going to continue her streak of downing the French Open champs.

Serena's serve is quite patchy this tournament. I actually thought she served better at the French than she is here.

Correct Sunday. Serena is actually winning w/ her 2nd serve this tournament. That being said, she grabs the early break over Sabine in the final set 3-0

2 MP's for Kanepi

Kanepi knocks out the British hope 7-6 7-5

Sabine breaks back. On serve 3-2
