Dustin plays Troiki, who reached the Stuttgart final. A brief reminder about past history of Rafa Slayers from tennis.com:

"If recent history is any guide, though, following up a win over Nadal at Wimbledon can be quite difficult for lower-ranked players.

Lukas Rosol beat the Spaniard in the second round in 2012, only to lose his next match. Steve Darcis had to withdraw injured after stunning Nadal in the first round in 2013. Last year, Kyrgios lost to Milos Raonic in the quarterfinals."

Will Dustin buck the trend?

Simon-Monfils could be an interesting match though we should be a fortune-teller to know who is going to win  I don't think that Muzz and Roger will have too much trauble to win at least on the paper ;)
I haven't seen any match today but I was told that Verdasco and Tomic......awful game, nothing new :cover
We'll see the second week, the tournament should be more interesting, I hope :puzzled

Simon Monfils matches have always been boring. Hoping its on a non televised court

Last match on court 1, at least I can skip watching that court

The listing up above already lists it on Court #1! Hard to believe you won't see Simon and Monfils; 4th match so you won't sleep through it even if in Pacific time zone! :popcorn  :dodgy: :shy:

not in pacific time zone, live in Asia. Those last matches finish around 12:45 for me. I will watch the tennis just not that 4th match on the court. That Australian Open match between the two still gives me nightmares

Brown in trouble. Down 2 sets to zip. Looks like the curse of beating Nadal and then losing the next match will live on.

I do not believe in curses. More like Nadal can lose to anyone on grass, who has a decent grass game, with big serve and or serve and volley style.

S. Groth just clocked 147 on his serve, shy by only one to the Wimbledon record held by Taylor Dent.
