^I completely agree. Although I wouldn't want that in the final. It starts early enough not to need it

Is it possible to shift the match to center court if it gets too dark to play on court 1? I hope they can allow the two to finish the match tonight.

The local council will not permit matches to continue on past 10pm, by the time they sort out the logistics it couldn't happen.

Also, they have the tradition of not moving matches to different courts in the middle. Once started on a particular court, it always is played in that court until end.

If there is a reason for me to say the heck with tradition and bring on the 5th set tie break at Wimbledon, this is it.

I would be extremely disappointed if they went to a tiebreaker in the 5th.

john McEnroe in the waffle booth overlooking centre court, wonder if he was aware that today july 3rd is the 30th anniversary of when he was hammered by kevin curren in the 1985 qf.
