I don't know if Berdych and Brands have ever played, but that could be an interesting fight.

Igor Sijsling is making Richi Krajicek and Sjeng Schalken proud, is up 2-0 in sets against Raonic. If he pulls it off and makes it past Dodig/Kudla, a 4th round clash with Ferrer is around the corner. Meanwhile Dimitrov struggles against Zemlja, it's a dog war in the Fifth. So much for the supposed young guns. *gulp*
On a posiive note, Berdych, Del Potro and Anderson through in straights. T-Berd and Anderson will face each other in the next round, should be a cracker.

But, interestingly:

Michael Llodra (FRA) (13) / Nicolas Mahut (FRA) (13) d Jan Hajek (CZE) / Jaroslav Levinsky (CZE) — 5-4 Ret.

Plus there's:

Feliciano Lopez (ESP) d Paul-Henri Mathieu (FRA) — 6-3, 5-1 Ret.

I thought you couldn't do this. Apparently you can.

"Michael Llodra has been explaining why he pulled out of the singles earlier - only to reappear in the doubles later on. The Frenchman said he picked up a hamstring problem at the French Open and he knew it would be difficult to complete his singles match. Once he lost the first set, he wanted to concentrate on the doubles - as he and Nicolas Mahut "have a goal here to play and try to win." The pair were runners- up in Paris."

Funny that he retires from his singles match, shows up in doubles and the opponents retire.

I thought from Raonic's inception at the Pro level he was going to really make a name for himself. I'm not so sure anymore. His inability to return and lack of variety are hurting him. Ivan's got his work cut out.

Sijsling has a fun game. He used to be the lesser of the three Dutch young players (Haase, de Bakker) but he has has made significant steps since Bercy. Hope he takes out Dodig and then Ferrer of course.

How many games does Reynolds take from Nole?

He's got a pretty good serve - especially into the body. See how long it takes for Nole to figure it out.

He does have good variation on the serve. But Bobby's game is ordinary in every other way. Novak has been playing down to his level. I expect him to take control very shortly now.

Lol at the kick serve that went over Reynolds :D

Nole is taking this a bit too much as a exhibition match, but I expect him to step up shortly.

Wow. Can't believe this is going to a breaker! Nole is playing somewhat sloppy, but credit Reynolds for playing up to par.
