Ana, Vera, Simo on TBA. Their fans will go nuts chasing them around the courts :D
I dont think its a good idea even if they will end up on the main courts. The fans wont be able to see them because they will not know in time where they will play.
They should make the less popular players TBA.

Hopefully the rain will stay away tomorrow....typical English Summer Weather

Keys v Puig....hoping Maddie can continue her great form after winning Eastbourne.

Taylor Townsend v Klara Koukalova...Taylor's game does suit the grass. This is an interesting match up.Hoping Taylor can get the win.

My favourite player Serena is also playing, she shouldn't have any trouble in her match.

I felt exactly the same way when I first saw the schedule. The RG finalist, and a top-seeded player, yet they didn't assign her a court? Unjustifiable, IMO, and you make an excellent point about the problem they've created for fans who won't know how to see her.

It's the second day and it looks like the schedule is already falling behind, there are 3 matches from ladies side to be finished.

It puts the 3 TBA players in a stressed and uncomfortable situation. Totally unfair imo. The players deserve better. Ana is in same situation and she won B'ham and is ranked 11. The Irina Begu fans and I am one of them :D will know where to find her today, but the Ana and Simo fans wont know until the last moment. It makes no sense. Vera's match is also more interesting than some other matches. Its weird.

I know! I got the reason:
They want to satisfy the hard paying cash fans in the main courts by giving them entertainment at the end of the day, in the last match. But, the players and their fans are being deprived.

I just cant shake off the feeling that Simona does not get the recognition that she deserves. :nono
She was also sent to the fourth court (court no.2) in Paris! In other words, I am mad. Its a disgrace but I am used to it by now so I am indifferent. No blondes no fun I guess
How hypocrite and unprofessional. The masses need their quick fix...
Rant over.

Still it makes no sense... Ana is VIP and glamour but they treat her this way. Idiots :D

Yeah, they're going to put her on whichever main court's matches end first. Yesterday, Cibulkova and Wozniak were TBA, then ended up on Centre Court when the originally scheduled three matches concluded. It's possible, therefore, that Halep could end up playing on Centre Court.

But while it would be nice for her to play there, it still presents problems for those who want to see her, and need to know, for certain, which court she's going to be on, and when.

Now you can understand how ludicrous some of the scheduling is. Yesterday was a prime example. They put Li Na on Centre Court and she has never even sniffed a final here. Same thing for Vika on Court 1. While relegating 5-time champ and 3-time finalist (Venus) to Court 2. Venus is in her final years and we're not sure how many more Wimby's she will play. While Court 2 is nice since they rehabbed it, in comparision w/ the other women's matches yesterday, I think Venus has earned her chops at the AELTC club to beat out the others for a show court.

Congrats to Caroline for her quick win over Peer 63 60. She's really sharp today - it's promising for her next rounds.:clap

Caro has been sharp this entire month, she fought hard in her last loss to Angie.
Soon, she may be facing Yanina, all of a sudden, I am interested in that match-up.

Sara is in big trouble against Garcia.

Some results today:

Match of the day so far has been Karolina Pliskova vs. Karin Knapp, Pliskova won the 3rd set 10-8

Serena closes the match out quickly. Good chance Halep or Ana gets moved to Centre

Ana already playing now on court 1 :) Time for Serena's successor to take the court. Its not confirmed yet. They better do it or I am shutting this event down
They wouldnt put Vera would they? If they do, Simona should refuse to play and leave Wimby. Its enough with all these insults. Treating the no.3 in the world like a sack

^ Nope. It's official, they are moving Halep there. I see it listed on the website under Order of Play
