missing the opening game of third set but otherwise it's complete.

i think this is still the shortest mens final at 81 minutes.

To this day there hasn't been a more one-sided display of tennis that involved two arch rivals. McEnroe's level of play in the final was simply outstanding.

A savage revenge for 1982. McEnroe was as great as any tennis player ever has been in 1984, and this match was the cream.
