Alright in light of how the draws have been shaken up, let's revamp and redo this thread. Which one of these 4 will win their maiden slam?

Will it be Aga who went to the finals of Wimby last year?

Will it be Kirsten who has never been to a slam SF or Final?

Will it be Marion who played for the Wimby title in 2007 and came up short against an in-form Venus?

Or, will it be Sabine, who took out the defending champ and in my opinion had the hardest road? She too has never been to a slam final.

I think whoever wins the Radwanska/Li match will win, and I'm tipping the world no. 4 right now.

You beat me to it.

I'm just not feeling Li winning the tournament, nor anyone else, really.

(This, of course, means Aga will lose tomorrow. ;) )

who else but Boom Boom?

i'd love that. and why not? sure, she's volatile, but she only needs to win six more sets. on a more serious note though, i could see Radwanska as well. and i'd love that, too, to be honest.

I don't believe in Aga, voted for Petra.

Either Petra or Aga! However, Petra still has to make it there. I would trust Aga to make it there before Petra.

I really hope Aga wins. In a way I feel like she is the WTA version of David Ferrer - she doesn't stand a legit shot against one of the top players (Serena, Azarenka, Sharapova) in a Slam final, but could beat anyone else. This is her chance.

Out of curiosity, when was the last time a Grand Slam was held in which the top three seeds were eliminated before the QF? Ever?

I'm pulling for Aga!! She does play some intelligent tennis, and not just retrieves.

Ugh most boring Wimbledon SFs in a long time.

I'm Sad Kvitova flamed out again. She has so much potential but she cant live up to them.

Petra and Li have a golden opportunity to win another slam with the top 3 out and they don't capitalize. Lame! On the other hand, someone is going to win her first slam. They better enjoy it. I have a feeling Serena is going to be ruthless after this defeat.

Big opportunity missed by Sloane also. Im not sure she will have another opportunity like this with decimated draw and a path to the final open to her for a long time. Or at least she wont until she can clean up her game to where she doesn't have such dramatic swings in quality.

Not going to predict anything, but, I feel the way you do.

Radwanska or Bartoli will likely win their maiden slam, will wear down Lisicki with their defence...

True, but she would be better if she upped her level of offense a notch or two. And I'm also pulling for her.

This didn't occur to me until I read your post. Very exciting.

This is where I am, too, but I can't decide between them. I think it will come down to day form.

Aga knows this is her best chance and the way she fought off Na LI indicated how much she wants this win,she will fight tooth and nail to win over Lisicki.Bartoli is also very hungry and has been to the final before...if Aga goes past Lisicki just cannot see anyone beating her..

As of tonight I have no idea who will win for the females. There is no rhyme or reason to who wins any of the matches. It's been fun!
