What are your Christmas plans, fellow Frontiers?

Christmas Eve is usually my grandma's birthday, but she passed on a month and half ago, so we will spending that day with a visit to the cemetery and just a small family dinner.

Christmas Day the extended family will be coming down and we'll be indulging in as much food as possible. We're Italian, so there is going to be an endless amount of grub at our disposal.

They are my Christmas plans. What about yours?

Oh, and an early Merry Christmas to the forum! Thanks to everyone here for making this place the number one tennis community on the web!

A trip to the in laws in Muskoka, a couple of hours north of Toronto. Wake up there Christmas morning, open presents, enjoy the day, have a nice supper. A little subdued this year since the father-in-law is going through cancer therapy. We return back to Toronto all together, and I work a few hours the next morning (boxing day, one of the busiest days for my work) and in the afternoon , my brother and sister in laws join the family as well and we have another nice supper, open more presents.

All is good.

Headed up North ;) to Alabama to hang with my family. Staying for a week since I can work from anywhere, then am going to a wedding in Kentucky (including new years festivities for the wedding party).

All the best to your father in law, Murat!

We have her bro with us, traditional Lithuanian dinner tomorrow evening, then after mass on Christmas day we drop him home, collect my parents and head to my brothers for a feed. Then drop my parents home after this, watch TV with them while we munch biscuits and cakes, then home and watch a film or two before bed. My favourite day is Stephens Day, total relaxation!

Merry Christmas, everyone! :hug

I go to St. Louis every year. It's not about gifts for us, in fact we haven't exchanged gifts in about 8 years. It's all about togetherness and sharing. Being w/ mom while we're still blessed to have her. We'll have a classic (for us) southern meal right out of the SoulFood movie. Yum! :basiate

Merry Christmas to all. Please have a safe and happy Holiday and we look forward to seeing everyone back for the start of the new tennis season.

We are staying here locally, visiting with my brother and law this evening for Christmas Eve or, as they call it, nochebuena. Home before 11 o'clock and quickly into the beds. My 11-year-old will wake us very early tomorrow morning to go down and see what Santa Claus has brought.you will enjoy some coffee and tea perhaps bit of fruit are we open the presents and then we head to mass at 9 o'clock in the morning. Yours truly will be the reader of the old testament reading and new testament epistle. It will be the fourth year in a row that I have read at the 9 AM Christmas Day mass. I considered a great privilege to read such wonderfulwords that means so much to so many, both today come in the past and in the future to come.

Merry Christmas. My brothers, their wives, my son and Dad are all here. It's nice having everyone home.

Merry Christmas Frontierers! Our day is wrapped up. Present unwrapping in the morning followed by church and then family around followed by a load of friends coming over in the afternoon for dinner and staying till late. Over 20 of us in total including kids. Good conversation and plenty of drinks. Tired now and it's over for another year.

Tomorrow will be a relaxed family day and we'll take in a movie (the final Hobbit installment).

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Merry Christmas to all of you here at Tennis Frontier!!!! The solemnity of the nativity of the LORD is such a wonderful feast. To those who are Christian, it is the realization of God's promise from of old through the prophets Isaiah, Zechariah and Jeremiah. The Word came and dwelt among us, to teach us how to dwell with the blessed Trinity forever--what an awesome thing indeed it was, is and shall forever be! A very happy Xmas to all!! Pax christi.

And for something slightly irreverent... of the three brothers, my middle brother is the lone Democrat in the family. This was one of his Christmas gifts. :snigger
