Unwanted touching is unfortunately something that many women deal with on a regular basis.
But for one waitress in Savannah, US, wasn’t having a bar of it when a customer groped her in a restaurant.

Emelia Holden, 21, didn’t hesitate to take matters into her own hands when a man groped her during her shift at Vinnie Van Go-Go’s in Savannah, Georgia on June 30.

In surveillance footage of the incident, 31-year-old Ryan Cherwinski is shown grabbing Holden’s backside as he walks behind her. Holden immediately turns around and grabs him by his collar and slams him into a counter.

“I looked at him and I said, ‘You don’t touch me, motherf—–!’ ” Holden tells PEOPLE. “I didn’t even think, I just reacted. I don’t know how I reacted the way I did. I’ve never done that before.”

It definitely is. I've had to slap a good few men for that when I was younger. People should be able to work without being harassed. Good for her! That will make him think twice before messing with women. Women are the weaker gender because of their biological differences (the male hormone testosterone makes it easier for men to build muscle than women) but that doesn't mean that they don't deserve respect & have the same rights as men or indeed can't be just as capable as men or more so in some ways & vice versa. It's unfair that sometimes women's rights are violated or sometimes men try to violate women's rights & women have to assert themselves though I think it's good for women to assert themselves. Equal rights & opportunities came into being ages ago but some men still think that women's job is to look after their home, husband & children & that women are only good for looking pretty & don't have a voice or mind of their own which I totally disagree with & think is unfair. The thing I can't get about that out-dated idea is they often got women to teach both male & female children yet they thought that if women's brains were stimulated too much it would render her useless for her role in life which was to look after the home, husband & children & women were mentally inferior to men. If women were mentally inferior to men, how could they be seen as knowledgeable enough to teach both male & female children where they'd have to teach boys men's stuff which women supposedly shouldn't have known about in the 1st place? To men who think like that, I normally bring up the examples of Celine Dion, Karen Carpenter & Cher for women who have a voice & Charlotte Bronte, Elizabeth Barrett Browning & Marie Curie for women with minds of their own.

Well said :good: Hopefully the culprit (and other wannabies who see or read this bit of news) will have learned his lesson.
