Rooting for Sinner but only because I want Rafa to be no.1 after the USO.

I’m gonna go with Alcaraz in 4 or 5. He seems about due to right the ship and has played better overall this tournament.

Quite frankly either player in their last match didnt impress me
Cilic really handed the last set to Alcaraz
Sinner 1st serve went to the dogs
I feel this could go 5 sets

Sinner doesn't deserve to win after his massive choke at Wimbledon against Nole. Even though I want Rafa to be no.1 after the USO I have to say that Alcaraz has the heart of a champion and it's better for tennis that he wins.

While Alcaraz is playing better than Sinner in this tournament, this is the type of match-up in which previous matches doesn’t really translates to the match itself.

Sinner is not as athletic as Alcaraz, but he can neutralize Alcaraz’s powerful shots using his backhand and return of serve. On the other hand, Alcaraz is so athletic that he can punish Sinner’s serve.

One thing about Sinner especially when facing Alcaraz is that he doesn’t get too high or too low once Alcaraz goes into that zone.

It really is a toss-up and either guy can win in 5 sets. I just hope it’s a very good match!

Just looking at results it seems like they don't play their best. This can go either way.
I give mental edge to Sinner since he beat Alcaraz 2 times this year.
I'll go with Sinner in 4.

2009 USO champion Juan Del Potro will be at the USO tonight, one of my favorite players, pity he had to retire, soo many injuries, at a young age, tried to battle back,to no avail.

When I went in 2018. He was there. In fact, it was a really good year because everyone was there. I don't think there was a top 40 man or woman MIA that year.

I hope they get on court quick so I can at least watch a few games of this match before I head off to dreamland.

I just don't see Sinner as far down the road for the big moment as Alcaraz. Charlie is made for the big stage. I think that will get him through this one.

Regardless I think this one is gonna be an epic match. Too bad I am only gonna be able to watch about 20-25 minutes of it.

Good luck to Sinner as I hope that we are heading towards a Khachanov vs Tiafoe/Sinner final. Nadal deserves to be no.1 at the end of the USO as he has won 2 slams and battled so many injuries costing him many points.

equally sloppy game from Carlito and we're back on serve. 2-2
