They both play on Ashe. Rafa in the afternoon, and Roger at night.

Fed's match is on at 1:30am here so I'll probably watch a bit anyway if I'm awake (should be) but it's not an exciting prospect on paper. Nadal v Dodig on the other hand I hope will be a good one and looking forward to that. Just hope Dodig plays up to potential and he'll have to, given how well Rafa's playing.

Between Barry (Obama) and Vika v. Cornet, preempting Rafa, CBS is a little frustrating.

Some great FHs already from Rafa and after seeing him run down that also great FH from Dodig, it's safe to say there's zero wrong with his knee right now. Which is good for his fans.

Trainer for what? The tiny dive he took or training on how to beat Rafa in this form?

Well, the set is done and dusted now. Dodig simply had to capitalize on that last poor service game from Rafa but failed miserably.

Shame for Dodig. He had little to no chance of winning, but this would have been a nice opportunity for him to be seen on the big stage.

They had Bill Cowher up in the booth and I just learned that the Super Bowl winning coach is a Djokovic fan! :)

Rafa is sharp and crushing his shots. Playing with so much confidence. Wow.

........ and CBS switches to Huncher in a tiebreaker.

That is the problem when non-sports TV channels have the rights to screen big sports tournaments. They may have to give priority to breaking news from the world of politics.

That was a pretty sublime performance there from Rafa. Dodig too played well but was just outclassed.

Agreed. Scary stuff from Nadal given that he still has some gears. He's now 56-3 for the season. Absolutely ridiculous.

I haven't seen that much of Dodig, but he's got a nice game, and I love the positive attitude and body language. He's got a very good head.
